As the Tony Awards approach, it’s the perfect moment to decide who to support by seeing as many nominated performances as you can. Two new musicals, “The Lost Boys” and “Schmigadoon!”, lead the pack with 12 nominations each. A “Ragtime” revival follows closely with 11. The play “Death of a Salesman” has garnered nine nominations, making it the most recognized play.

While some limited-run shows, such as “Bug”, “Liberation”, “Little Bear Ridge Road”, “Marjorie Prime”, “Oedipus”, “Punch”, and “Waiting for Godot”, have closed, many nominated productions are still available to audiences. Here’s how you can catch them before the 79th Tony Awards on June 7 at Radio City Music Hall.

If you prefer to pay the standard rate, purchase tickets through the production’s official website. Alternatively, visit the theater box office to avoid online convenience fees. You can often find deals through trusted platforms like TodayTix, BroadwayBox, and TheaterMania. Be cautious of unverified sellers, as counterfeit tickets pose a risk.

For those who don’t mind booking last-minute, every nominated show offers lottery or rush tickets at a significant discount. These options require a bit of luck, either by winning the lottery or securing rush tickets before they sell out. Playbill maintains a list of venues and their respective policies. The TKTS booths in Times Square and Lincoln Center provide discounted same- or next-day tickets for in-person purchase, often featuring several nominated performances.
