2 weeks ago 0

Michael Franzese, a former Colombo crime family captain, recounted a shocking account of how his father, John “Sonny” Franzese, became a focus for the federal government. He shared these details on the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast.

According to Franzese, his father was targeted after Marilyn Monroe allegedly mentioned him during an intimate moment with Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. The story, passed down by Sonny Franzese, suggests Monroe called out his name while with Kennedy at Manhattan’s Stork Club.

“Now this is my father telling me this, right,” Franzese stated. “She’s with Bobby Kennedy, and she screamed out my name.” Following this, it is said Kennedy contacted FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, instructing him to prioritize the investigation of Sonny Franzese.

Franzese explained that his father revealed this story following the death of Franzese’s mother in 2012. The revelation came as Franzese questioned why federal agents continually surveilled their home.

Additionally, Franzese recounted my involvement in a gas tax scheme. He claimed that this venture generated millions weekly by collecting taxes without government payment. His personal earnings were approximately $3 million to $4 million weekly.

John “Sonny” Franzese faced several legal challenges during his life. In 1967, he was arrested and later convicted for multiple bank robberies, receiving a 50-year sentence. He was paroled but found guilty of racketeering conspiracy in 2011. Sonny Franzese died at 103 in 2020.
