A fatal shooting occurred at a Home Depot in Covina on Tuesday. The incident took place during a child custody exchange in the store’s parking lot located at 963 West Badillo Street.
Covina police responded to the shooting report at 6:06 p.m. According to the initial investigation, a disagreement arose between two men participating in the custody swap. The argument escalated, resulting in one man shooting the other. Sadly, despite first responders’ efforts to provide medical aid, the victim died at the scene.
The suspect was arrested without any further incident, as stated by the Covina Police Department. The case is currently under investigation, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
