Brooks Nader is stepping into the world of “Baywatch,” gaining an unexpected endorsement from her conservative parents. The Sports Illustrated model and actress shared that while bikinis were off-limits in her upbringing, her family is on board with the reboot’s signature red one-piece swimsuit.

Nader made a striking appearance at the 2026 FOX Upfront in New York City. She promoted the much-anticipated “Baywatch” reboot and shared a humorous insight into why her family approves of her new role.

They’re excited about ‘Baywatch’ because it involves a one-piece swimsuit. We weren’t allowed to wear bikinis when I was growing up, Nader explained on the red carpet.

Nader will portray Selene, a captain of the Zuma Beach Lifeguards, in FOX’s modern take on the iconic series. The original show, which launched Pamela Anderson to fame in the 1990s, featured a star-studded lineup including David Hasselhoff and Carmen Electra.

FOX aims to rejuvenate the classic beach drama for new audiences. Joining Nader in the project are influencers Noah Beck and Livvy Dunne, introducing a contemporary twist to the series.
