Clark’s field goal percentage was 14 for 50 in recent games, surprisingly hitting only six out of 22 attempts from 3-point range. With the Fever holding a 5-5 record, the game against the Washington Mystics became crucial to get back on track.

Clark started strong, scoring 10 points in the first quarter while going 2-5 from three-point range. Though benched for much of the second quarter, she amazed fans with a skillful pass to Myisha Hines-Allen for a layup.
In the second half, she showcased her shooting skills. With seven minutes left in the third, Clark made a 25-foot jump shot, completing a rare four-point play after a foul by Cassandre Prosper.
Despite the Fever’s substantial lead, the Mystics closed the gap to just two points midway through the fourth and one point near the end. After a loose ball foul, the Mystics led by one point. Clark drew contact in the lane for two free throws but missed both.
Even with shooting troubles, Clark contributed with a remarkable half-court pass to Aliyah Boston, making it 75-74 Fever. After trailing due to a late foul, Sophie Cunningham’s long pass enabled Clark to sink a crucial 31-footer, clinching a 78-76 victory for the Fever.

This performance signaled a return to form. Clark finished with 19 points, hitting 7-16 from the field and 4 out of 10 from three-point attempts, along with five assists and a steal. The Fever’s win improved their record to 6-5, heading into their next game against the Chicago Sky.
