In a heartfelt video shared on Instagram, Clery expressed gratitude to God and praised the first responders who came to her aid. She described the situation as dire, being unable to move or breathe properly, and feared losing consciousness.

Clery shared footage from the rescue, showing firefighters carrying her to an ambulance while she wore a neck brace. The ordeal required the efforts of three firefighters to lift the refrigerator off her safely.
She noted the speed and professionalism with which the emergency responders acted. They arrived quickly, broke through her garage door, and safely transported her to a trauma unit. Fortunately, Clery escaped without any broken bones, and her children remained safe.
