Jelly Roll Files for Divorce from Bunnie Xo after Long Marriage

Jelly Roll has initiated divorce proceedings from his wife, Bunnie Xo, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce paperwork was filed on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, with the separation date listed as May 9, according to court records.

Jelly Roll, a country music star, and Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, were married in a spontaneous ceremony in Las Vegas in August 2016, a year after meeting. Throughout their marriage, Bunnie became a stepmother to Jelly Roll’s children, Bailee and Noah.

In February of the previous year, the pair attended the 2026 Grammy Awards, where Jelly Roll, 41, won Best Contemporary Country Album. During the event, the couple appeared affectionate, displaying public affection on the red carpet and inside the venue.

Bunnie Xo has openly shared the challenges in their relationship in her memoir, “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.” The memoir discusses her upbringing and the tumultuous start to her relationship with Jelly Roll. One notable incident she recounts is discovering Jelly Roll was involved with an ex-fling during their marriage, leading to emotional distress.
