Recently released emails from 2013 by the Department of Justice have uncovered a connection between the late Jeffrey Epstein and Steve Tisch, the co-owner of the New York Giants. These emails depict Epstein as a frequent intermediary for Tisch in arranging meetings with women, providing extensive details about their characteristics such as age, nationality, and appearance.
Throughout these email exchanges, Tisch and Epstein discussed several women, with Tisch often inquiring whether they were “pro or civilian” or a “working girl.” For example, in an April 2013 communication, Tisch asked about a woman identified as “M,” questioning: “Curious to know about M… pro or civilian?” Epstein clarified that “M” was a “civilian, but Russian,” further describing her as “fun.”
In a subsequent June conversation, Tisch asked Epstein if another woman was considered a “working girl.” Epstein replied, stating, “Never.” Additionally, the emails reveal Epstein informing Tisch about a Ukrainian woman who was hesitant due to their age difference. Epstein reassured Tisch that he would try to convince her not to return to Ukraine.
There was also a reference to a microbiology student in Florida interested in meeting Tisch. Epstein suggested that Tisch should “organize her ticket.” Notably, the women involved were often made aware of Tisch’s professional background, as one woman mentioned she researched Tisch and discovered he was an “Oscar winner producer and Giants owner” before agreeing to meet.
The correspondence frequently included invitations to Epstein’s gatherings and sports events. For instance, Tisch once offered Epstein “two tickets in my Suite for Sunday’s game” in September 2013. Epstein, in another email from April 2013, referred to Tisch as a “new but obviously shared interest friend.” Despite these interactions, Tisch has not faced any charges of misconduct.
In a statement released by a Giants spokesperson to ABC News, Tisch commented on his association with Epstein: “We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments. I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.”
Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous criminal activities gained widespread attention following his arrest. He died by suicide in 2019 while detained in a New York jail. At that time, Epstein was awaiting trial for charges of sexually exploiting and abusing numerous minor girls, involving complex recruitment operations with victims as young as 14 years old.
