A federal judge has recently ruled against Minnesota’s effort to immediately halt the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)-led initiative, known as Operation Metro Surge. The decision, made on Saturday, highlighted that the state and two cities did not satisfy the high legal threshold necessary to block this federal law enforcement action at this point in the litigation.
