For the past two months, David Robinson and Guy Molock have met weekly. Molock was motivated by a lack of support during his own youth, which prompted him to become a source of support for others.
David Robinson often felt the need for someone to confide in, but opportunities were scarce. He was aware of the stigmas surrounding traditional mental health therapy, especially for Black men. These included fears of judgment and shame in sharing personal stories. This was intensified by the idea of opening up to someone familiar.
