Bruce Springsteen’s Concert Moment Sparks Chris Christie Reaction

2 weeks ago 0

Bruce Springsteen appeared to inadvertently ignore former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie during a concert in Brooklyn, a moment that quickly gained attention on social media. As Springsteen moved through the crowd, Christie extended his hand, much like other fans, but the 76-year-old musician did not acknowledge the gesture. It’s uncertain if this was intentional. Fox News Digital has sought comments from Springsteen’s representative.

Despite this moment, Christie seemed unfazed and continued enjoying the show. The incident was highlighted by social media users, with one commenting, “HAHAHA Bruce Springsteen WAS NOT HAVING IT with Chris Christie. THE SNUB!” However, not everyone agreed with this interpretation. One user suggested Springsteen thought Christie was merely guiding him, and another highlighted their friendly rapport due to Christie’s admiration for Springsteen.

Springsteen has publicly criticized former President Donald Trump, specifically during his recent “Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour.” He delivered several political speeches during his opening concert, expressing concern over the current state of American values and governance. Springsteen emphasized to the audience, “We are living through some very dark times,” highlighting issues such as military involvement in unconstitutional wars, treatment of immigrants, and what he perceives as corruption within the White House.

Springsteen accused the administration of enriching themselves at the expense of working Americans, alleging corruption. “This White House is destroying the American idea,” he stated, lamenting the global reputation of America. He added, “To many, we are America the reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation. That is this administration’s and this president’s legacy.”
