Carrie Underwood emerged as a prominent figure in country music following her 2005 victory on the singing competition show, American Idol. Born on March 10, 1983, to Carole and Stephen Underwood, her rise to fame began with her debut album, Some Hearts, featuring the hit song “Before He Cheats.”
Underwood’s career flourished with subsequent albums, including Carnival Ride, Play On, Blown Away, Storyteller, Cry Pretty, and her 2020 Christmas album, My Gift. In 2021, she released My Savior, followed by the 2022 album, Denim & Rhinestones.
Her talent has earned her numerous accolades, such as Grammys, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, CMA Awards, and American Music Awards. She holds a significant place in country music history and hosted the CMA Awards for 12 consecutive years. Since 2013, she has performed the opening for NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
