She detailed an incident where Platner allegedly twisted her arm during an argument, pushed her into a bedroom, and blocked her from leaving. She stated that although the encounter was painful, it did not result in injury.

Fifield emphasized that Platner never physically hit her. The Times was unable to independently verify the incidents described by Fifield. Following the article’s release, Fifield criticized the Times on social media for its portrayal of her account.
