Jana Kramer, an actress and singer, shares insights about overcoming heartbreak. She asserts that leaving toxic relationships has made her a better person and enhanced her appreciation for new beginnings. This transformation is also depicted in her new Lifetime movie, “Where the Heart Lands.”

“Where the Heart Lands” showcases Kramer’s journey towards self-improvement. She emphasizes that getting out of negative relationships has allowed her to become happier and more fulfilled. According to Kramer, starting over can be daunting but also rewarding. She notes the beauty and love that can be found on the other side of a painful divorce.

“Starting over can be one of the scariest things ever and one of the best things ever,” said Kramer.

Her candid discussions about relationship struggles resonate with many. Kramer highlights how lingering in negative situations drains one emotionally, leading to a loss of self-identity. She advocates for embracing fresh starts and leaving unhealthy situations behind.

Kramer has two children, Jolie and Jace, with her ex-husband Mike Caussin. They divorced in 2021 after six years of marriage due to Caussin’s infidelity. She believes staying would have meant continued betrayal.

Now, Kramer is married to former soccer player Allan Russell and they share a son, Roman. Raising three children, Kramer reflects on how leaving toxic relationships allowed her to build a life she treasures. She believes that the difficulties faced can lay the groundwork for better things to come.

“I think second chances are beautiful,” Kramer shared with Fox News Digital.

The theme of redemption and love after loss is central to “Where the Heart Lands.” In the film, Kramer stars alongside Tyler Johnson. The story follows a real estate agent who unexpectedly inherits racehorses in Kentucky, leading to unexpected love with Kramer’s character, Charlie. Kramer connects with Charlie’s determination and fear of losing everything she worked for.

Filming in Kentucky, Kramer cherished the experience of working with racehorses. Her daughter recently began horseback riding, deepening her connection to these animals. She praised the intelligence and healing nature of horses, acknowledging their role in equine therapy.

The movie also features John Schneider, Charlene Tilton, Alex Barone, and Jessica Szohr. Directed and co-written by Haylie Duff, “Where the Heart Lands” concludes Lifetime’s spring slate and is available for streaming.
