In a heartfelt announcement, Kelly Clarkson has revealed that her popular daytime talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” will conclude after its seventh season. The 43-year-old singer shared this news on Instagram, expressing her gratitude and emotions about the end of the show.

Clarkson stated, “I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ both in Los Angeles and New York.” She reflected on the numerous wonderful moments shared over the seven seasons.

Expressing appreciation for her team, she said she is “grateful and honored” to have collaborated with “the greatest band and crew,” as well as thankful for “all the talent and inspiring people” who have joined her. Clarkson particularly acknowledged her fans and NBC, emphasizing the importance of their support in her journey.

“Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision,” Clarkson admitted, “but this season will be my last hosting ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show.'” She shared that stepping away will enable her to focus on her children, stating that it feels both necessary and appropriate for her family’s next chapter.

Kelly Clarkson is a mother to two children, River Rose, 11, and Remington, 9, with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, whom she was married to from October 2013 to June 2020. Tragically, Blackstock passed away in August 2025 at 48, after battling melanoma, a type of skin cancer.

While leaving her talk show, Clarkson reassures fans that this is not a definitive farewell. She plans to continue making music, performing at occasional shows, and making potential appearances on “The Voice.” She concluded her announcement by thanking her audience for their unwavering support.

The comments section of her post was filled with supportive messages from fans and celebrities. Many expressed understanding and appreciation for her decision, including Carnie Wilson, who fondly recalled baking, singing, and talking together on the show.

Throughout her time as a host, Kelly Clarkson has earned significant recognition, securing 24 Daytime Emmy Awards for her show, including accolades for best daytime talk series and best talk show host.
