On June 5, 2026, Samantha Busch shared her heartfelt emotions on Instagram, expressing appreciation for the support her family has received. ‘The prayers, messages, flowers, meals, hugs, and countless acts of kindness have carried us through the most heartbreaking days of our lives,’ she said. Despite their tremendous loss, she mentioned finding solace in the affection they have received from those around them.

‘While our hearts are absolutely shattered, we have felt God’s presence and arms wrapped tightly around us through each and every one of you.’

She further explained that Kyle’s illness escalated after being hospitalized for pneumonia, which developed into sepsis, causing rapid and severe complications. Kyle had an illustrious career, achieving 234 victories across NASCAR’s three national series.

The Instagram post included a family photo with Samantha, Kyle, and their two children. In this image, Brexton, aged 11, is seen on Kyle’s back, while Samantha holds their four-year-old daughter, Lennix.

‘Knowing the impact Kyle had on others and seeing how they are honoring him through each unique act of generosity is a true testament to how special Kyle is to so many people,’ she continued.

She expressed gratitude for the continuous support from friends, family, and even strangers. ‘There are moments when the weight of this loss feels impossible to carry, yet time and time again God, through you all, has shown us we are not alone,’ Samantha added.

Concluding her message, she thanked everyone who has supported her and her children. ‘We may never find the words to fully express what your support has meant to us, but please know that we are deeply grateful.’
