Maggie, a rescue dog, has become a sensation online due to her unique habit of occupying the teacher’s chair at doggy daycare. Adopted by Tori Parks and her husband, Camden, from the humane society at three months old, Maggie is believed to be a mix of Staffordshire bull terrier, pit bull, and Labrador.
To boost Maggie’s social skills and provide enrichment, the couple regularly takes her to daycare, where each visit includes a “report card” detailing her mood, behavior, and activities. A recent report card amused the couple, as Maggie was consistently found sitting in the teacher’s chair, perfectly capturing her personality.
Parks, who shared images of Maggie from the daycare’s camera on her dog’s TikTok account, explained, “The daycare has cameras, and I always see her sitting in the chair, so I had to screenshot it! They even mentioned it in her report card. It’s a regular occurrence.”
Maggie’s preference for chairs isn’t limited to daycare—it’s a common sight at home. Parks shared, “She often sits in chairs and even joins us at the dinner table. She waits for dinner to be ready by sitting at her spot.”
The couple embraces Maggie’s quirky behavior, integrating her deeply into their lives. They affectionately refer to her as their “only child,” and indulge her human-like tendencies. At daycare, Maggie not only enjoys the teacher’s chair but also receives positive report cards, which the family proudly displays on their refrigerator.
