Kumba’s Legendary Farewell

In Florida, the renowned Kumba roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay prepares for its final ride after operating for over three decades. Known as one of the park’s most celebrated attractions, Kumba will permanently close on August 2 after 33 years.

When it debuted in 1993, Kumba was noted for being Florida’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster. It also featured the world’s tallest vertical loop at the time, becoming a favorite among thrill seekers.
