Singer Taylor Swift made an appearance at Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs, held at Madison Square Garden. The venue has been in the spotlight as a potential site for her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce.
Swift sported a blue T-shirt with the words “Stevie Knicks” in orange lettering. She was seen sitting courtside with actor Ben Stiller. Joining her were singers Este and Alana Haim, who wore shirts with Knicks-themed puns: “Knickole Kidman” and “Knickleback.” Daniella Haim, the third sister, joined them later in the evening.
Fans witnessed history as the Knicks overturned a 29-point deficit to win 107-106, thanks to OG Anunoby’s tip-in with only 1.2 seconds remaining. Swift celebrated enthusiastically, waving a rally towel as she left the court.
Speculation around Swift’s marriage to Kelce intensified recently. Reports from TMZ and the New York Post’s Page Six suggest they will marry at Madison Square Garden in early July. This speculation persists despite their connections to places like Kansas City, Nashville, Cleveland, and Rhode Island. The wedding rumors remain unverified, as Swift’s representatives have not responded to comment requests. Madison Square Garden’s event schedule shows no bookings from June 29 to July 6.
Swift was not the only star at the game. Celebrities such as Tate McRae, Hailey Bieber, Timothée Chalamet, and Spike Lee were also present. Swift and Kelce had previously attended Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Knicks and Cavaliers, near Kelce’s hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Last year, the couple also attended an NHL Stanley Cup Final game in Florida.
Swift’s connection with Madison Square Garden goes back to 2009 with her “Fearless” tour. She celebrated her 30th birthday there during iHeartRadio’s “Jingle Ball.” Her “Eras” tour has since expanded to larger venues, noted by her recent performances at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
