Jeremy Corbell, an investigative journalist and co-host of the ‘WEAPONIZED’ podcast, has been vocal about government secrecy surrounding unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs). In a discussion with Peter Doocy, Corbell emphasized the significance of declassified videos showing advanced craft with remarkable speed and acceleration, including a notable 2021 video over Syria.
Corbell pointed out that both former President Barack Obama and President Donald Trump have offered vague statements regarding UAPs. Currently, Congress is pushing for the release of 46 UAP videos.
A new documentary titled “Sleeping Dog,” directed by Michael Lazovsky, expertly follows Corbell’s long-standing endeavors for transparency concerning UAPs. The film documents his efforts to urge federal officials to disclose classified UFO information to the public. Corbell highlights that these unknown crafts operate with freedom in restricted airspace, challenging long-held assumptions about national security.
“There are machines, there are craft of unknown origin that fly with impunity in our restricted airspace, and our government has been assessing this as a national threat for decades,” Corbell remarked in a recent interview with “The Sunday Briefing.” “The jig is up. People now know UAP are real.”
The secretly filmed documentary, created over several years, unveils previously unreleased footage from Corbell’s investigations. It also features interviews with key figures such as astronaut Edgar Mitchell, David Grusch, and George Knapp.
Josh Golembeske, senior director of production at Gaia, shared insights with Fox News Digital: “[Corbell] revealed a bunch of videos that he had access to that ended up being a part of the Department of War’s UAP file drop – which was fascinating. So he’s in the know.” The extensive scope of his work has contributed to a new sense of authenticity regarding UAP documentation.
The film coincides with President Trump’s initiative towards transparency on UAPs, with recent declassified documents enhancing public access to such information.
Golembeske also expressed support for a methodical release of information to help the public adapt to revelations about UAPs and potential alien life.
“I think this is a slow drip disclosure, and you could argue it’s compassionate disclosure,” Golembeske explained to Fox News Digital. “This is actually how I would do it, because I know that people are going to be shocked and I wouldn’t just drop everything on them.”
However, he cautioned against fear-based narratives, urging a balanced view of alien existence.
Amid increased interest and significant documentary releases, Golembeske believes the discourse on UFOs will continue to gain momentum nationwide.
“I wouldn’t have said this five years ago, but it feels like something is imminent,” Golembeske commented. “It does feel like we’re building towards a moment and the genie can’t be put back in the bottle – I think it’s gone too far.”
Fox News Digital has reached out to Jeremy Corbell and the film’s distributor, Falcon Scout Media, for further comments.
