Utah AMBER Alert for Missing Toddlers
Two young children from Utah are missing and believed to be in serious danger after their father failed to attend a custody exchange. The boys, Will Richman, aged 22 months, and Wesley Richman, aged 10 months, are at risk of imminent harm. An AMBER Alert was initiated in Saratoga Springs, Utah, on Saturday, May 16.
A concerned relative stated, “Please, we need your help and prayers for these boys.” The Utah Department of Public Safety described the father, Dane Stephen Richman, as “seriously depressed” and experiencing financial distress. He has reportedly been selling off possessions and abandoning his home.
Incident and Alert Activation
Richman’s absence at a scheduled custody exchange prompted the children’s mother to contact police for a welfare check on Thursday, following Dane Richman’s failure to attend a deposition related to the custody case. Subsequently, the mother alerted police again on Saturday when the custody exchange did not occur, leading to the AMBER Alert.
The alert states: “The first suspect is identified as Dane Stephen Richman. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 195 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.”
The children are described as Will Richman, with blonde hair, blue eyes, standing 2 feet 6 inches, and weighing approximately 31 pounds. Wesley Richman has blonde hair, blue eyes, is 2 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs around 23 pounds.
Suspect Information and Vehicle Description
Authorities suspect they are traveling in a Black Toyota Camry, license plate A561HL, though it may have a temporary tag. The plate might not be visible. A family member, Kate Walters, shared concerns on Facebook, saying, “My sister’s children have been abducted,” and urging public help and prayers.

AMBER Alert stands for America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response. It is activated to inform the public when a child under 17 has been abducted and faces potential harm.
