The U.S. State Department is offering a substantial reward of $15 million for information regarding four Chinese nationals. These individuals are accused of assisting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in acquiring U.S. military equipment and drone technology.
The accused individuals, identified as Liu Baoxia, Li Yongxin, Yung Yiu Wa, and Zhong Yanlai, are alleged to have facilitated transactions through front companies in China. These companies then channeled the acquired technology to Iran, according to information released by the State Department.
Iran reportedly acts as an intermediary, transferring these products to the IRGC and its associated companies. Notable recipients include Shiraz Electronics Industries and Rayan Roshd Afzar, which utilize U.S.-controlled technology for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, arms, and other weapons systems.
These manufactured products have allegedly been sold to governments and organizations in allied nations, such as Russia, Sudan, and Yemen. Such transactions violate U.S. sanctions imposed on these entities and countries.
The State Department is appealing to individuals who might possess details about these unlawful actions. Information can be reported through an anonymous Tor Browser connection, with the informant standing to receive a monetary reward.
