Kennedy Center Directs Removal of Trump’s Name from Venue Materials

1 day ago 0

The Kennedy Center has issued a directive for staff to remove all mentions of President Donald Trump’s name from its venue. This instruction was communicated through a memo from the general counsel, which highlights the necessity to erase any references from signs, brochures, and the venue’s website. Additionally, staff must update email signatures and letterhead without delay.

They have been given a deadline of June 12 to complete these changes. This decision comes despite Trump’s name appearing on the facade of the center, shown in a photo from February by Jabin Botsford of The Washington Post.
