Teenager Shot Outside Miami Convenience Store

A 15-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound late Sunday in Miami’s Little Havana area, police reported. The incident occurred outside a convenience store, sparking a police investigation.

The teenager contacted police at approximately 11:08 p.m., notifying them of the shooting. He was accompanied by a group at the corner of Southwest Seventh Avenue and Third Street when the attack happened. Multiple shots were fired at the group by unidentified individuals, according to the police.

Emergency services transported the boy to Ryder Trauma Center, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury to his leg.

As of now, the assailants remain unidentified and at large. Authorities from the Miami police department are actively pursuing leads in this case.
