The Broken Arrow Fire Department in Oklahoma responded promptly to a fire at a fireworks stand on Saturday night. Firefighters arrived to find fireworks actively detonating as they battled the blaze.
The department detailed the incident in a Facebook post, stating that the call came in at around 8:50 p.m. near E. Kenosha St. & S. 236th E. Ave. A photo shared on social media illustrates the fiery scene, capturing the dangerous nature of the incident.
‘Upon arrival, BAFD Engine 4 discovered the fireworks stand ablaze with active detonations,’ the department reported.
Fortunately, A-Shift firefighters managed to contain and extinguish the fire within approximately 20 minutes. The swift action ensured there were no reported injuries from the scene.
The incident happened two weeks before the Fourth of July holiday, a time when fireworks are traditionally part of celebrations across the United States.
