Gwyneth Paltrow, known for her roles in acclaimed films such as Shakespeare in Love and Iron Man, has established herself as both an accomplished actress and a successful entrepreneur. Born on September 27, 1972, in Los Angeles, California, Paltrow is the daughter of producer and director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner.

From the outset of her acting career, she appeared in notable early roles like Rebecca in the 1991 film Shout and young Wendy in Steven Spielberg’s Hook. Throughout the 90s, Paltrow showcased her versatility in films such as Malice, Se7en, Sliding Doors, and The Talented Mr. Ripley.

The new millennium saw her in a variety of films including Shallow Hal, View from the Top, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. A pivotal moment in her career came with her portrayal of Pepper Potts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting in 2008 with Iron Man. Her portrayal continued in sequels and other Marvel films such as Iron Man 2, The Avengers, and Avengers: Endgame. In between these, she participated in films like Contagion and Mortdecai.

On television, Paltrow made appearances in shows like Glee, depicting Holly Holliday, and The Politician, portraying Georgina Hobart.

Besides acting, Paltrow founded Goop, a lifestyle brand. Initially a newsletter launched in 2008, it has expanded significantly, offering wardrobe, beauty, wellness, and kitchen essentials.

Her personal life has also gained attention. Paltrow was previously married to Chris Martin of Coldplay, with whom she shares two children, Apple and Moses. After their divorce in 2016, she married producer Brad Falchuk in 2018. Falchuk is known for his work on television series such as Glee, American Horror Story, and Scream Queens.
