President Trump’s Health Report Released

The White House has disclosed a three-page report from President Trump’s physician, summarizing the findings of his physical examination conducted at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center earlier this week. The report was released late Friday.

President Trump’s physicians have consistently provided favorable health reports, emphasizing his excellent condition and healthy habits. The latest report, authored by Dr. Sean P. Barbabella, offers a similarly positive evaluation. The document states that the 79-year-old president “remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.”

As the oldest individual inaugurated as president, Mr. Trump underwent an extensive series of physical and mental tests. These included an echocardiogram and an ultrasound image of the heart. These tests are part of increased cardiovascular monitoring following a previous diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency, a condition affecting blood return to the heart.

Mr. Trump has a history of elevated cholesterol and uses two medications, Crestor and Zetia, to reduce his LDL cholesterol levels. He also takes a significant daily dose of aspirin to decrease the risk of heart attacks and strokes, opting against his doctors’ suggestions to lower the dosage.

While at Walter Reed, the president participated in various neurological tests, including the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA), a 10-minute test designed to identify signs of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other conditions. According to the report, Mr. Trump achieved a perfect score of 30 out of 30, consistent with previous years.

The report noted a weight gain of 14 pounds since a physical examination in April 2025, placing Mr. Trump’s weight at 238 pounds, which borders on clinical obesity. He has publicly contemplated the use of “obesity drugs,” mentioning, “I probably should,” though he disclosed not taking them.
