Earlier in the year, Brooklyn publicly criticized his family on social media. In January, he posted a comprehensive statement discussing his strained relationship with his parents. He initiated the post, “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.” He claimed his parents’ media interactions left him “no choice” but to speak out.

Brooklyn accused his parents of controlling media narratives, labeling family interactions as disingenuous. He claimed they attempted to damage his relationship with Nicola, even before their marriage. He shared private incidents, accusing his family of prioritizing “Brand Beckham” over personal relationships.

Brooklyn ended his statement with, “My wife and I desire peace, privacy, and happiness for our future family, free from media influence.”
