Commencement of the Annual Hajj Pilgrimage Amid Regional Tensions

The annual Hajj pilgrimage, a significant religious duty for Muslims, commenced on Monday in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Commanding key significance in Islam, this event draws a vast number of pilgrims. Over 1.5 million participants have arrived from abroad, as reported by Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba, the commander of the Hajj passport forces.
