The 2026 Tony Awards concluded with significant accomplishments for many in the theater world. A standout of the evening was the Joe Mantello-directed revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, which secured six awards, including best revival.

Schmigadoon! claimed the award for best new musical while Beth Wohl’s Liberation won for best new play. In the category of musical revival, Ragtime emerged victorious.

Cinco Paul’s work on Schmigadoon! won for original score, and Doug Besterman and Mike Morris earned the orchestration award for the same production.
