Carpentersville Rotary Blind Flights Fundraiser

The Carpentersville Rotary Club is set to host its Blind Flights beer tasting fundraiser on Saturday, July 11. The event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. at Carpenter Park, located at 275 Maple Ave., Carpentersville. Attendees can enjoy beer from nine local breweries along with live music. Food will also be available for purchase from No Manches and Duke’s Blues-N-BBQ. The first 150 guests will receive a complimentary tasting glass. Tickets are priced at $40. Benefit Concert for Anderson Humane

A concert celebrating the 60th anniversary of Anderson Humane is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, at the St. Charles Motorcycle Museum & Art Gallery, 1317 E. Main St., St. Charles. The event, running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature performances by The Bare Hambones, Rishi Maze, Saturday Morning Punk Rock Club, and Little King Trashmouth. Fox River Trolley Museum ‘All Aboard Days’

The Fox River Trolley Museum is organizing ‘All Aboard Days’ for individuals with special needs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays, July 12 and August 9. These rides will be adjusted to create a sensory-friendly experience. A designated area in the Wayne depot and a quiet train ride will also be available. Free Concert at Lords Park Zoo

Chamber Music on the Fox will host The Outset Trio in a free concert on Monday, July 13, from noon to 1 p.m. at Lords Park Zoo, located at 325 Hiawatha Drive, Elgin. The concert will feature the music of composer Mark O’Connor, known for blending bluegrass, country, jazz, and classical styles. Seigle Foundation Awards Education Grants

The Seigle Foundation has recently granted $356,250 to 11 nonprofit organizations for educational purposes. Recipients include Alignment Collaborative for Education, Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois, Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley, and others. These funds aim to reduce barriers for families and aid children with developmental disabilities in achieving significant milestones.
