For several years, a group of 20 Camp Saginaw alumni has been gathering to share memories and stories.
Among these former campers are Brian Redman and Rick Elion, who were bunk mates in 1966. They remain connected to this day.
During their time as campers, the concept of time felt different. Activities like the Color War, campfires, and the morning reveille loosely structured their days. Moments like winning a track race or experiencing a first kiss seemed to linger indefinitely, yet the eight-week period often passed in a quick blur of summer heat.
