Analysis of Trump’s Executive Order on Federal Employees

3 hours ago 0

The recent executive order signed by President Donald Trump aims to enhance accountability among top-tier federal bureaucrats. This move, however, is relatively modest compared to previous expectations.

The order introduces a new classification for federal employment. This category targets approximately 8,000 senior-level career employees. These individuals generally hold supervisory positions and are involved in policy-making.

A few months back, the administration had projected that the changes would affect around 50,000 workers. This significant reduction indicates that the final scope of the order is narrower than initially anticipated.

Scott Kupor, the head of the Office of Personnel Management, discussed these developments during The Post’s “Building America” summit earlier this month.
