Campbell’s Expands Soup Lineup with New Gluten-Free and Bold Flavors

Campbell’s iconic red-and-white soup cans are evolving as new soups join the historic brand’s collection. A major addition is the Campbell’s Condensed Gluten Free Banza Chickpea Pasta and Chicken Soup.

Introducing Gluten-Free Options

With a growing trend of gluten-free eating in the United States, Campbell’s has collaborated with Banza to offer a gluten-free version of its well-known condensed chicken noodle soup. The new soup combines the familiar comfort of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup with Banza’s gluten-free chickpea penne pasta.

Campbell’s states that approximately 30% of the U.S. population is seeking gluten-free options. The gluten-free market in America is expected to grow at a 9.8% annual rate from 2026 to 2033. Gluten, a protein found in some grains, is present in bread, pasta, baked goods, and some sauces and soups. Celiac disease, affecting about 1% of the population, is an autoimmune condition triggered by gluten.

For over 125 years, Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup has been a staple in homes across America, said Benjamin Crook, senior vice president of soup at The Campbell’s Company. Partnering with Banza lets us bring that same classic chicken noodle taste to the growing number of people looking for gluten-free options.

The new gluten-free chicken noodle soup is currently available on Amazon and will soon be in nationwide retailers.

Collaboration with Buffalo Wild Wings

Campbell’s Chunky soups have teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings to release Campbell’s Chunky Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup. Buffalo Wild Wings is the largest sports bar brand in the U.S., and this partnership targets new consumers searching for bold flavors.

The soup contains 17 grams of protein per 18.8-ounce can, meeting the demand seen in a 2025 International Food Information Council survey, where 70% of Americans indicated a preference for consuming protein.

Bolder Flavors with Pabst Blue Ribbon

Last fall, Campbell’s launched two new Chunky soups with Pabst Blue Ribbon flavors, enhancing their lineup with more dynamic tastes. The Campbell’s Chunky x Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Cheese with Potatoes & Chorizo Soup includes chorizo and potatoes in a cheese sauce with Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer flavor. Meanwhile, the Campbell’s Chunky x Pabst Blue Ribbon Beef, Bacon & Beer Chili with Beans offers seasoned beef, beans, and smoky bacon infused with PBR flavor.

Both of these Pabst Blue Ribbon soups are exclusively sold at Walmart.

Consumer Trends and Sales Insights

According to Campbell’s CEO Mick Beekhuizen, consumers are cooking at home at levels unseen since early 2020, choosing Campbell’s brands for their value, quality, and convenience. This trend led to an unspecified increase in soup sales in 2025, despite a 5% decrease in organic snack sales, as reported by Axios.
