1 week ago 0

The New York Knicks have a host of celebrity supporters, and actor Ben Stiller ranks high among them. Stiller frequently occupies a courtside seat, and on Monday night, he was present with other renowned fans like Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, and Tracy Morgan. They witnessed New York’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, securing their spot in the NBA Finals after a 27-year hiatus.

Post-game, Stiller actively engaged on social media, posting several updates. One post included a personal recording of the game’s final moments. He used a broom emoji to signify the clean sweep, accompanying a video of Mike Brown and Kenny Atkinson exchanging handshakes at midcourt. The video also captured the instant reactions of Knicks players celebrating the win.

Later, at around 1 a.m. ET, Stiller shared another post, displaying a screenshot of his phone lock screen. It featured a picture of Karl-Anthony Towns and included the message, ‘It’s 1 a.m. KNICKS ARE EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS.’

The Knicks will have several days to rest before the NBA Finals commence on June 3. Their opponent will be the winner of the Western Conference Finals, where the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are currently tied at 2-2. Due to the superior regular-season record of the Western Conference winner, they will have home-court advantage, meaning the first NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden will take place in Game 3.
