4 months ago 0

TUCSON, Ariz. – Savannah Guthrie, co-host of NBC’s “Today” show, alongside her siblings, issued a heartfelt plea on Instagram regarding their missing mother, Nancy Guthrie. They urged anyone involved in her alleged abduction to reach out, as evidence suggests a crime and potential ransom demand have been reported by authorities in Arizona.

Savannah opened the appeal by expressing gratitude for the prayers and support they have received. She described her mother as the family’s cornerstone and emphasized Nancy’s fragile health and urgent need for medication. Savannah poignantly depicted her mother as a “kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light.” Further, she shared that Nancy has grandchildren who adore her and gather around her with affection.

Our mom is our heart and our home. Her health, her heart is fragile,” Savannah continued. “She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive. She needs not to suffer.

Savannah acknowledged reports about a ransom letter circulating in the media and emphasized the family’s readiness to communicate with potential captors. She called for a direct and honest exchange, insisting they need proof of Nancy’s well-being.

Savannah’s sister, Annie Guthrie, emotionally addressed their mother, expressing the family’s desperation and need for her to return safely. “Momma. Momma, if you’re listening, we need you to come home. We miss you,” Annie tearfully stated.

President Donald Trump intervened by promising full support from federal law enforcement in the search efforts.

Authorities have increased their activity around Nancy Guthrie’s home. Deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department were witnessed securing the area with yellow crime scene tape and deploying K-9 units. These actions follow the mysterious disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, last seen at her Tucson residence on a Saturday night.

Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed evidence indicating a crime, including “blood drops” discovered leading from the home’s entryway to the driveway. Family members alerted authorities after noticing Nancy’s absence from her usual Sunday church service.

Following significant concern, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office has ruled Nancy’s disappearance as a possible kidnapping or abduction. Despite numerous leads, ongoing investigations have yet to clarify if the act was targeted or random.

Speculation from TMZ regarding a ransom note has added to the complexity of the case, with demands for a “substantial amount” for Nancy’s return.

The White House also conveyed its concern and appeals for public assistance in the search, encouraging anyone with information to contact law enforcement immediately.

From Savannah’s Instagram, a message of hope and faith emerged, encouraging collective prayer and belief in her mother’s eventual safe return.
