FOX One has collaborated with the USO to deliver live coverage of the World Cup 2026 to U.S. military personnel stationed overseas, ensuring they stay connected to family and friends while supporting Team USA. This initiative provides access to live games, pregame coverage, highlights, expert analyses, and memorable moments, enhancing the morale and sense of community among the deployed members.
Lindsay Gray and Dundrey Peoples from USO Jordan operations discussed the partnership on “Fox & Friends,” emphasizing their goal to create a “home away from home” environment for service members. Gray explained the importance of making remote locations feel more familiar by setting up centers resembling a living-room atmosphere.
All the World Cup matches are viewable on FOX and FS1, and each game can be streamed live on FOX One. This service addresses the initial concern of service members who worried about missing opportunities to cheer on Team USA.
The initiative was inspired by the theme of “connection,” as explained by Gray. Watching live sporting events allows service members to bond with their families back home. Peoples noted that the response from the members has been overwhelmingly positive, citing the electric atmosphere felt during game nights.
One highlighted experience involved a service member in Japan who watched the South Africa vs. Mexico game while on a call with his mother in the United States, showcasing the powerful ability to share moments across distances. The initiative underscores a meaningful way to support and maintain connections with family during deployments.
Fans can stream all FIFA World Cup games on FOX One, up until the championship final on July 19.
