Jane Seymour has found joy with her soon-to-be husband, John Zambetti. The couple recently announced their engagement after three years of dating. They appeared happy on the red carpet at the 33rd annual Race to Erase MS event in Los Angeles this month.
Seymour, 75, feels fortunate to have connected with Zambetti, 78, attributing it to perfect timing. She expressed how lucky she feels to have met him at this stage in her life. Zambetti, known as a member of the Malibooz band, shared his views on finding love later in life, stating that one must remain open and optimistic, as there are wonderful people everywhere.
Seymour echoed her fiancé’s sentiments, emphasizing the miracle of their relationship. They both acknowledged that the timing had never been right before, but now it is.
The couple supports each other’s interests and careers. Seymour enjoys her acting career, and Zambetti loves his music. They are mutually supportive, with Zambetti accompanying Seymour on her projects and Seymour becoming his muse for songwriting. Zambetti has even released four albums while Seymour continues her film work.
Describing their life together, Seymour explained how they feel youthful and carefree, enjoying each day like teenagers. Zambetti remarked on the fun they have, especially when their children visit.
The proposal occurred the day before Seymour’s birthday, on Valentine’s Day, in Malibu. It was a comic yet romantic event. Zambetti proposed with a ring he had hidden in a safe, which then fell out of the box during the proposal, creating a lighthearted moment.
Seymour, a mother of six, has been married four times previously. Her first marriage was to Michael Attenborough from 1971 to 1973, followed by Geoffrey Planer until 1978. She then married David Flynn, with whom she has two children, Katherine and Sean. Her fourth marriage was to James Keach, with whom she shares twins, Kristopher and John. She recently ended a long relationship with David Green.
Zambetti, who has two children, was married to Joan Zambetti for over 40 years before her passing. Their shared experiences with previous marriages and families bring them closer.
